I have been very lucky to have been trained & educated by some of the very best in Martial Arts & Personal Protection. Mel Parry was my first real instructor who showed me what I could do and not what he could do. I went on to train under Ticky Donovan, and Dominique Valera.
My work led me to Sifu Martin Sterling. Sifu Joey Perico, Sensei Damain Ross, Pete Barry and Ed Kane and more recently Russel Stutely and James Loach. I think my only regret is not finding Sifu Tommy Carruthers when I was in Glasgow all those years ago. I would have loved to have trained under him.
Maybe there is one last seminar in me before I turn 65 next year. Maybe.
