Become a Certified Self Defense Instructor

After completing the 10 Lesson Self Defense Course students often read the comment on there certificate that says "we hope you continue your practice and study"

My advice on that comment is two fold.

Take what you have learnt and commit to training 2 X 45 minute session every single week developing what you learnt, and adding speed, power and aggression to techniques.

Grade 1: Escape and Evasion (SDTS Module 5)
Grade 2: Essential Self Defense (SDTS Module 1)
Grade 3: Advanced Methods of Striking (SDTS Module 2)
Grade 4: Grabs and Hold (SDTS Module 4)
Grade 5: Ground Fighting (SDTS Module 3)
Grade 6: Weapons Defensive Tactics (SDTS Module 8)
Grade 7: Weapons Offensive Tactics and Weapon Retention (SDTS Module 9, 11)
Grade 8: Methods of Arrest and Removal (SDTS 10, 12)
Grade 9: Weapon Retention (SDTS Module 11)

Instructor Ranks:

Level 1 consists of techniques from Grades 1, 2 and 3
Level 2 consists of techniques from Grades 4 and 5
Level 3 consists of techniques from Grades 6 and 7
Level 4 consists of techniques from Grade 8 and 9

Grades 1,2 and 3 are beginner ranks
Grades 4, 5 and 6 are intermediate ranks
Grade 7 is the advanced rank
Grades 8,and 9 are the elite ranks.
