Tactical Training
You will have an opportunity to become a certified level 1 instructor. There will be approximately 3 hours of tactical training and 1 hours of class room training in total.
SDTS Level 1 Methods of Escape and Evasion, Essential Self Defense and Advanced Strikes
Certifications
Are not mandatory, but are open to all participants. If you're planning to become a Self Defense Company Instructor you can be credited towards your Professional Instructor Program. The certification is in a "teach back" format and will take place at the end of the tactical training portion on the same day. Each candidate will be asked to participate in a mock training session and asked to teach 15 minutes of that session. Candidates are evaluated on ability to understand and communicate the material.
Class Room Training
We have a one hour class room sessions that cover all aspects of level 1.
