What are your rights?

















One of the most common questions that gets asked when teaching The 10 Lesson Self Defense Program™ is will I get myself into serious trouble if I use these techniques to defend myself?

The truth is there is no simple answer to that question because a lot will depend on the content of your actions.

However, if you believe that you are in danger of an assault you have the right to defend and protect yourself and your property using reasonable force and the key word here is ‘reasonable’

Verbal threats do not fit into the above rule, if someone calls you a bad name and then walks away, then it is probably best that you do the same, you are simply not allowed to hurt someone just because in your opinion they deserve it and you can.

My advice is that when faced with the threat of an assault is to use whatever force is reasonably necessary and be ready to use whatever force in needed to keep you safe,
