Dilhara Fernando wins the gold medal in our adult academy end of year student awards finishing ahead of Bilge Sonmezer and Vele Vrhovac who were 2nd & 3rd.
Dilhara started training in Jeet Kune Do just a little over 18 months ago under Sifu Caesar Jose Perico, Dihara also completed the 10 lesson self defense course with the self defense company before getting the martial arts bug.
This busy mum also works full time but still finds 2 evenings a week out of her busy scedule to coninue her practice and study in JKD and more recently Kick Boxing.
Last years award was won by Joanne Gillam, so Dilhara's win this years still keeps the girls ahead of the boys.
